A Warrior is One Who Has an Enemy and Knows who His Enemy Is!
The NEED today is for the Church to take a Census to determine who its "Prayer
Warriors" are and using the Weapon of the Word and Prayer against its archenemy Satan!
"Being God's Prayer Warrior"
Understanding the Nature and Scope of the Battle!
1. The battle is SPIRITUAL and involves ETERNITY! 2. The battle is between GOD and SATAN! And MAN is the CENTER of the battle! 3. SATAN will apply every strategy he has to bring about MAN'S COMPLETE DESTRUCTION and CRUSH GOD'S PURPOSE for man! 4. It is the Christian's responsibility to be SPIRITUALLY ALERT to Satan's SCHEMES! Satan seeks ways and means to appeal to our GREED, LUST, and WEAKNESSES! 2 Cor. 2:11 "Lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices." 5. Satan appealed to Judas' GREED! His target is our MINDS for it is there sin has its ROOTS! Luke 22:3 (NASB) And <*2> Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, [1] belonging to the number of the twelve. Matt. 26:14-16 Then one of the Twelve--the one called Judas Iscariot--went to the chief priests and asked, "What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?" So they counted out for him thirty silver coins. From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over. There is a Tremendous NEED for us Christians to realize that we are Satan's Target! His one Ambition is to find that one Opportunity to deceive us and Rob us of our Victory in Christ!
6. God and His Son Jesus Christ are our Example how to Fight and Win the Victory over Satan! LOVE and SACRIFICE are God's method John 3:16 (NASB) ""For God so <*1> loved the world, that He <*2> gave His [1] <*3> only begotten Son, that whoever <*4> believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.( following verses: (See Rom 5:8; Eph 2:4; 2 Thess 2:16; 1 John 4:10; Rev 1:5 Rom 8:32; 1 John 4:9 John 1:18; 3:18; 1 John 4:9 John 3:36; 6:40; 11:25f 7. It was on the CROSS there the heart of the battle was fought and God won! Genesis 3:15 (NASB) And I will put <*1> enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; <*2> He shall [1] bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel.'' (See Rev 12:17 Rom 16:20) 8. Man's method to fight against Satan to defeat and conquer him! By the WORD and Power of PRAYER! Deuteronomy 8:3 Bible (NASB) ""He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you [1] understand that <*1> man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD. (See Matt 4:4; Luke 4:4) Psalm 119:33,97 (NASB) 33 <*1> Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes, And I shall observe it to the end. 97 O how I <*2> love Your law! It is my <*3> meditation all the day. (See Ps 119:5, 12 Ps 119:47, 48, 127, 163, 165 Ps 1:2; 119:15 ).
9. Focus your HEART and MIND on God's MIRACULOUS POWER! Psalm 33:8-9 (NASB) Let <*1> all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world <*2> stand in awe of Him. For <*3> He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it [1] stood fast. (See Ps 67:7 Ps 96:9 Gen 1:3; Ps 148:5 ) 10. Focus on Jesus' ETERNAL AUTHORITY! Matthew 28:18-19 (NASB) And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ""<*1> All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. ""[1] <*2> Go therefore and <*3> make disciples of <*4> all the nations, <*5> baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, (See Dan 7:13f; Matt 11:27; 26:64; Rom 14:9; Eph 1:20-22; Phil 2:9f; Col 2:10; 1 Pet 3:22 Mark 16:15f Matt 13:52; Acts 1:8; 14:21 Matt 25:32; Luke 24:47 Acts 2:38; 8:16; Rom 6:3; 1 Cor 1:13, 15ff; Gal 3:27)
Matthew 19:26 "But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." In Short, We have an Enemy-SATAN! However, as God's "Prayer Warriors" there is the Spiritual Power available to us to bring about Satan's Defeat-Prayer, God's Word, and the Power of the Holy Spirit! There is no reason for the Church to be defeated!
